So, um, this is my livejournal.

I've had it for a while. Never done anything with it. Not even sure why I got it.

Since I've started posting stuff to Ihasatardis, I figured people might actually click on my icon, in which case they were coming to a blank page.



First off. Ivvydolamroth is Tolkien reference. I was joining a Tolkien board a couple of years back, and needed a name. Ivriniel was the first female name from Tolkien that I came across that wasn't taken. Since then I've used it lots of other places. Unfortunately, when I went to start a Livejournal the name was taken here.

Ivvy has been my online nickname for while, and Ivriniel was a Princess of Dol Amroth, though she was only mentioned in one geneology. So I became Ivvydolamroth.

Anyways, I've never really been one for journalling. I have a hard time distilling my thoughts into writing. I do however, ocassionally have rants that might end up here. Also cute stories about my students, as I teach Grade 4. We'll just have to see how it goes, I suppose.

The title of the journal comes from one of my other geekly interests, Doctor Who. The final line of the final episode before the show went on hiatus in 1989 was:

"There are worlds out there when the sky is burning, the seas are asleep and the rivers dream. Somewhere there's danger, somewhere there is injustice, and somewhere else the tea is getting cold. Come on Ace, we've got work to do!"
